The Löwenstein Prisma25ST is an advanced BiPAP therapy device designed for patients with obstructive, mixed or complex sleep apnea, particularly when additional respiratory support is required. Manufactured in Germany, it combines flexible BiLevel settings, intelligent respiratory monitoring and comfort-focused technology for safe, effective and exceptionally quiet therapy.

Flexible BiLevel Therapy

The Prisma25ST offers multiple therapy options to accommodate individual breathing requirements. Features such as Bi soft 1/2 pressure relief, autoPDIFF and autoTriLevel provide greater control over pressure support and help optimise breathing comfort.

An automatic or fixed backup frequency can also be selected, providing additional respiratory support when needed.

Intelligent Respiratory Monitoring

The Prisma25ST uses advanced technology to analyse breathing patterns and identify different respiratory events. Depending on the therapy mode, it uses Forced Oscillation Technique (FOT) or Forced Breath Technology (FBT) to help distinguish between central and obstructive apnea.

The device can also detect and record:

prismaRECOVER Sleep Quality Indicator

The integrated prismaRECOVER function continuously evaluates breathing stability during therapy. It can identify periods of particularly stable respiration that may correspond with deeper, more restorative sleep.

Therapy and sleep quality information can be reviewed through compatible Löwenstein software and platforms, including prisma JOURNAL, prisma APP, prismaTS and prismaCLOUD where supported.

Comfortable Therapy from Start to Finish

softSTART gradually increases pressure over a selected period, helping users become accustomed to therapy while falling asleep.

softPAP pressure relief reduces pressure at the beginning of exhalation and returns it to the required therapy level before inhalation, helping make breathing out easier.

The Prisma25ST also provides different pressure adjustment options in APAP mode to accommodate individual responses to pressure changes.

Smart Humidification

When paired with the PrismaAQUA humidifier, optional smartAQUAcontrol can help warm the airflow when therapy begins and maintain humidification performance during periods of increased leakage.

A heated breathing circuit can also be used with the PrismaAQUA system for additional comfort.
